The Town of Queensbury (www.queensbury.net) has active campaigns going within its CEC (Clean Energy Community NYSERDA based) programs.
****The Town of Queensbury Clean Energy Community (CEC) is sponsoring a Community Solar Campaign. This program is for anyone who may want to use renewable solar energy, but has not or cannot install solar panels on their property, or may be a renter. Through National Grid, you may be interested to support local, clean energy (championing solar in your community), receive a 10% discount on your monthly electricity cost, and receive a $100 sign-up bonus by simply signing up with one of the selected Queensbury Community Solar participants (all offer the same program):
Queensbury residents are the target of this campaign, but anyone can buy renewable energy through this program. All information regarding the Clean Energy Community Solar Campaign and the links to sign up are on the Queensbury website. Many of us on the CEC committee have participated with this program for years. When you choose to sign up, you will receive $100 plus a 10% discount on your monthly National Grid electricity. In addition, you will be purchasing 100% renewable electricity and supporting future solar farms. Please note: You will need your National Grid account number when you sign up.
