The organization THIRD ACT (https://thirdact.org) is organizing a campaign to pressure banks to stop supporting the fossil fuel industry. Banks have spent 1.9trillion on fossil fuels since the Paris Climate Agreement and most of this is by Chase, citibank, Bank of America and Wells Fargo.

Third Act, an organization of older Americans, points out that this demographic owns 70% of the financial assets in the country. This gives some political clout.
